About Me, 2024
I'm a British Figure Skater and have been skating since the age of 3. I'm being coached by, Florent and Sofia Amodio at the Amodio Academy, Vaujany in France. In 2022 I represented GB at the Golden Skate competition in Romania, at Advanced novice level, where I achieved 3rd place against 22 International competitors - and in November I came 4th for GB in the Andorra Open. In December I competed against 24 skaters in the British National Championships and came 2nd Overall in GB. At the start of 2023 I came 1st in the French, Le Havre competition - and then in March I came 1st at the British Ice Skating Qualifier, at Advanced Novice.
In the summer of 2023 I moved up to Junior level and came 1st at the open Oxford competition; and then in August came 3rd against 27 skaters in the qualifier for the British Championsips - where I gained suffcient points to enter into the GB junior skating devlopment squad. This led to my representing GB in the Budapest Golden Skate against 30 international skaters in October, where I came 8th. In November I achieved first place in Valence, France against 21 other skaters. At the end of 2023 at the British National Championships I came 3rd in the Free programme and 4th overall. My first competition in 2024 was the Robin Hood Trophy where I came first with a new PB of 139 points. In April I represented GB at the Triglav trophy coming 9th overall out of 48 International skaters.
An injury to my foot in September meant requirements for Physio and a break from on-ice training. However, with a strapped up foot I came 2nd in the October British Qualifier. At the British Championships in November, 2024 I came 4th Overall in GB even though I had not trained as I wanted to. Being fit I'll try to improve all my triple jumps in the coming season.
